This year's Bridge the Gap walk took place on Sunday 11 September, and saw well over 2000 people get their walking shoes on to take a stroll around the magnificent Cambridge colleges and gardens.
This year’s route included Emmanuel, King’s, Clare, Selwyn, Peterhouse, Pembroke and Downing Colleges, and explored some of their most picturesque and intriguing places. The route was packed with plenty to see and take in and highlights included the sneak-peak into the University Library, celebrating its 600th anniversary and the highly-regarded Ai Weiwei exhibition at Downing College.
The event raised valuable funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice and Romsey Mill, and both charities were delighted to see so many people turn out in support of the wonderful work they do.
The final total is being counted, and we will update you all as soon as we know.
