This year's Bridge the Gap walk took place on Sunday 11 September, and saw well over 2000 people get their walking shoes on to take a stroll around the magnificent Cambridge colleges and gardens.
This year’s route included Emmanuel, King’s, Clare, Selwyn, Peterhouse, Pembroke and Downing Colleges, and explored some of their most picturesque and intriguing places. The route was packed with plenty to see and take in and highlights included the sneak-peak into the University Library, celebrating its 600th anniversary and the highly-regarded Ai Weiwei exhibition at Downing College.
The event raised £42, 000 which will be split between the Arthur Rank Hospice and Romsey Mill. Both charities are extremely grateful and were delighted to see so many people turn out in support of the wonderful work they do.
