Dine at Churchill

Fittingly, as we mark 50 years since Sir Winston Churchill’s death, the Open Cambridge dinner will this year take place at Churchill College.

Allen Packwood, Director of the Churchill Archives Centre will give a colourful introduction to some of the character traits of our wartime leader. His inspiration will be drawn from the Churchill Papers, some 3,000 boxes of letters and documents ranging from Churchill’s first childhood letters, via his great war-time speeches, to the writings that earned him the Nobel Prize for Literature.
