6:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday 18 September
This is an online event, via Zoom ,
For over 60 years, Cambridge Samaritans has been there—day or night—for anyone struggling to cope or in distress, offering a safe space to talk without judgement or pressure.
Listening with empathy, giving people time and undivided attention, meets a fundamental human need. It can ease distress, help people explore their feelings, and lead to greater clarity and understanding of their situation and their options.
The heart of what we do is simple: We Listen.
Join us for this event as we open up more about our service—on the helplines and in the local community—and discover Samaritans’ unique approach to supporting those in emotional distress and our work in reducing the number of suicides.
