The West Hub is open for all.

Come and discover the wide range of facilities and services we offer. The West Hub brings together university members, businesses, and the wider community to study, learn, work, collaborate, stay fit, and socialize.

Choose from our many open workspaces and make yourself comfortable. Take a coffee break, enjoy lunch at our canteen, or post a letter at our post office. Explore our convenience store, or record a podcast and film in our Media Lab. Our friendly library team is here to support your research and studies. Stay for dinner at the ‘W’ café/bar.

Whatever your needs, we look forward to welcoming you to the West Hub.

Transport options
As a sustainable building we do not have any designated parking available. For those who do need to drive please be advised to use
the free park and ride site which is located off Madingley road.
Madingley Road Park and Ride Lansdowne Rd, Cambridge CB3 0EU.
It’s an easy 15 minute walk from there.
Guests are welcome to cycle, take a taxi or catch the U bus which stops directly outside the West Hub at JJ Thomson Ave, Cavendish Laboratory.

Accessible parking spaces are located along JJ Thomson Avenue.
Guests can enter the West Hub via the main sliding door entrance, opposite the Ray Dolby Centre.
