Early Cambridge play-grounds: walking tour

We will walk about 2.5 miles over 2 hours and visit 10 play-grounds, whose origins go back 150 to 1,000+ years featuring 16th century football/hooliganism, 12th century wrestling, 19th century golf, medieval archery, 19th century cricket etc and on our journey explore the origins of play. We will finish on a play ground where a player who used it is now buried.
