Downing College, Outside Maitland Robinson Library, Regent Street, CB2 1DQ
**Unfortunately, due to the forecast very high winds this afternoon and the very open nature of the College site, it has been decided that it would not be safe to run the architectural tours this afternoon on health and safety grounds**
The tour will give an overview of the history, design and development of Downing College since its foundation 225 years ago. The tour will mainly cover external areas, with internal access to some key buildings depending on availability on the day. Please note that the College site is extensive and steps may be necessary to access some buildings. There may be an opportunity to view the archive exhibitions in the Maitland Robinson Library after the tour, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and 225th anniversary of the College's foundation.
Please note: the tour route contains steps.
