Caro Wilson presents a brief history of Donkey Common from its origin as part of the 'Common Pasture' through its use during the war as an Auxiliary Territorial Service encampment, re-purposed as emergency housing during the 1950s, and the long battle to build a swimming pool (twice). Including some stories from Parker's Piece and paths that weren't taken.
