6:30pm-7:30pm on Friday 6 September
Online , Online, online
Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre was founded by volunteers 42 years ago. To this day, they are a crucial part of the organisation. Join us to learn the history of the centre and the incredible work our volunteers do, as well as learn more about how to join us as a volunteer. There will be opportunities for questions too!
We will share how we came to be Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre; from the global and national context that prompted women in the city to create the centre to the challenges faced in the present.
This is an exciting time to learn more about CRCC, as we look at the past to learn about our journey and share it with the community.
Being founded by volunteers, and still having them contributing in essential areas of the organisation, we will focus on what volunteers do and how women can join us.
*Please note: everyone 18+ is welcome to attend this event but some of our volunteering opportunities are restricted to women only, under Schedule 9 Part 1 Equalities Act 2010.
