Trinity College, The tour will begin at Trinity College’s Great Gate on Trinity Street., Trinity Street, CB2 1TQ
Join us for a talk about the recent conservation restoration project of the Hall led by Danielle Smith-Turner of the College’s Works Department and Olive Caroe of Caroe Architecture detailing the complexity of working in such a significant historic building at the heart of the College estate, and some of the discoveries made along the way. The talk will take place in the College Hall allowing the audience to experience the space and its challenges.
Accessibility:
Level access to main entrance, and a ramp down into Great Court. Slabbed paving and cobbles (which can be avoided) in Great Court. Step-free access to the Hall is possible. Assistance should be requested from the Porters’ Lodge if required. Seats will be provided for the talk.
