THE WOMEN WHO MADE MODERN CAMBRIDGE

Saturday 14 September: 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Anglia Ruskin University, Lord Ashcroft Building - LAB006, East Road, CB1 1PT

One of the forgotten pieces about the history of Cambridge is the work that a group of women undertook to overhaul and modernise our city. Only in recent times has their story come to light. Local historian Antony Carpen will be telling the story of the women who made modern Cambridge, without whom our city would not be what it is today.
