The Wren Library, Trinity College Trinity Street, CB2 1TQ

The Wren Library is one of the world's great library buildings and houses an internationally significant collection of medieval manuscripts and early printed books. Alongside being able to witness Wren’s architectural masterpiece, there will be general treasures of medieval manuscripts and early printed books on show, and special exhibitions on women in early modern science and socialist movements against fascism and war.

Access to the Wren Library is via Garret Hostel Lane. There is a map here: https://www.trin.cam.ac.uk/library/visitors.

Visitors should note that the College is an historic site where paths and surfaces may be uneven. The Wren Library is on the first floor and only accessible by stairs; unfortunately there is no lift available. The Wren Library is an historic building and the temperature fluctuates widely across the year; it can be very cold in the winter and very warm in the summer and so we advise you to dress accordingly so that you remain comfortable during your visit. Please also note that there are no public toilets available for visitors. Bags larger than a rucksack (such as trolleys and luggage) will NOT be admitted.

Last admission is 15 minutes before the advertised closing time.
