Join Uncomfortable Cambridge on a brand new tour about the ‘hidden’ histories of the city. (*)
This tour will require us to think creatively about the missing narratives of Cambridge and their impact on the modern city, analysing the urban landscape to find the lost stories of women and LGBTQI+ people - interrogating why and how they were erased from the narrative. We will also question the intersection of gender, race, and class in shaping these erasures, looking at the multiple and connected factors that cause some stories to be remembered, and others to be forgotten.
