2:00pm-3:00pm on Friday 15 September

Great St.Mary's Church, Senate House Hill, CB2 3PQ

The session will feature the remarkable history and heritage, - the first home of the University, royal visits, especially of Elizabeth I in 1564, the important role played in the Reformation, the great debates, the two organs, and of course our famous bells.

A conducted tour will highlight the distinctive aspects of the interior, including the architecture, Majestas, and viewing the church from the north gallery.

There will also be the opportunity to climb the tower at a preferential rate, to see the panoramic views of Cambridge and the Colleges.

The event will be led by Margaret Johnston, Churchwarden, and Dr. Lynne Broughton, church historian.
