Why I’m a Quaker

3:00pm-4:30pm on Sunday 17 September

Quaker Meeting House , 12 Jesus Lane , CB5 8BA

Quakers keep themselves to themselves. It isn’t that they’re secretive so much as naturally quiet, but the result is the same: no one but a Quaker has a clue who the Quakers are.

This is your chance to find out. Three Quakers tell how they discovered this liberal, experience-based faith and what it means to them today. Quakers don’t evangelise, so no one will try to convert you. They don’t pretend to have all the answers either, so you’ll be able to ask questions over a cup of tea and have a proper conversation with any or all of the speakers.

This event does not require booking, unless you want to receive a reminder, otherwise just turn up!
